A prayer for Muslims
Almighty and Everlasting God,
O Divine Trinity,
who, in the Person of Your Word,
hast told us that the truth will set us free,
so illumine with this truth, we pray,
those deceived by the errors of Muhammad,
that they would turn from Submission, and towards the Savior.
We ask you through this same Word, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

A prayer for Families
Almighty Father,
You have created the family as the basic unit of human society.
Draw our families together in your love and faith,
that we might be light for the world, salt of the earth,
and a mirror of the love that is the Blessed Trinity.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord,
who with You and the Holy Ghost lives and reigns for ever and ever, world without end. Amen.

A prayer for Marriages
Eternal God,
Who created woman that man might not be alone,
Whose blesses marriage by adding one and one to make one,
Who would not have us unequally yoked,
So knit together the hearts and souls of Christian spouses
That together they would
Walk together as one
Serve You together as one
Love You together as one.

Eternal Trinity,
You are Three Persons in one Being.
In this same way, let diversity in unity
Be reflected in marriages.

Let the love of the Father for mankind
be reflected in our love for children.

Let the love of Christ for the Church
be reflected in the love of man for wife.
Amen.

The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

A Prayer of St. Ilia Chavchavadze
Our Father Who art in Heaven!
With tenderness I stand before Thee on my knees;
I ask for neither wealth nor glory;
I won’t debase my holy prayer with earthly matters.
I would wish for my soul to rest in heaven,
my heart to be radiant with love heralded by Thee,
I would wish to be able to ask forgiveness of mine enemies,
even if they pierce me in the heart:
Forgive them, Lord, for they know not what they do!

PRAYER FOR THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Holy Spirit, Divine Consoler, I adore You as my true God, with God the Father and God the Son. I adore You and unite myself to the adoration You receive from the angels and saints.

I give You my heart and I offer my ardent thanksgiving for all the grace which You never cease to bestow on me.

O Giver of all supernatural gifts, who filled the soul of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with such immense favors, I beg You to visit me with Your grace and Your love and to grant me the gift of holy fear, so that it may act on me as a check to prevent me from falling back into my past sins, for which I beg pardon.

Grant me the gift of piety, so that I may serve You for the future with increased fervor, follow with more promptness Your holy inspirations, and observe your divine precepts with greater fidelity.

Grant me the gift of knowledge, so that I may know the things of God and, enlightened by Your holy teaching, may walk, without deviation, in the path of eternal salvation.

Grant me the gift of fortitude, so that I may overcome courageously all the assaults of the devil, and all the dangers of this world which threaten the salvation of my soul.
Grant me the gift of counsel, so that I may choose what is more conducive to my spiritual advancement and may discover the wiles and snares of the tempter.

Grant me the gift of understanding, so that I may apprehend the divine mysteries and by contemplation of heavenly things detach my thoughts and affections from the vain things of this miserable world.

Grant me the gift of wisdom, so that I may rightly direct all my actions, referring them to God as my last end; so that, having loved Him and served Him in this life, I may have the happiness of possessing Him eternally in the next.
Amen.
